is Folk Art?»
Hours: The Museum is open 10 a.m. to
5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and closed on Mondays from
September through the the end of May. The Museum is closed
on New Years Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving and
Christmas Day holidays.
Because Christmas & New Years fall on Tuesdays this
year; the Museum will be closed for Christmas Eve and Christmas
day; and New Years Eve and New Years Day
The Museum is open Daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Memorial
Day through Labor Day.

Admission Rates: Adult single-museum
admission is $6 for New Mexico residents, $8 for nonresidents;
$12.00 one day, two-museum pass (Museum of Indian Arts &
Culture & Museum of International Folk Art OR
New Mexico Museum of Art and Palace of the Governor's Museum)
Youth 16 and under and Foundation Members always free!

Sundays: New Mexico residents with I.D are admitted
FREE!
Students with I.D. Receive a one-dollar discount.
Wednesdays: New Mexico resident seniors (60+) with
I.D. are free!
$18 four-day pass for Five museums (Museum of International
Folk Art, Museum of Indian Arts & Culture, Museum of
Spanish Colonial Arts, on Museum Hill; and the New Mexico
Museum of Art and Palace of the Governor's Museum, downtown).
Group Rates: A group is 10 or more people. Single-Museum
visit $6.00, 4-day pass for 5 Museums $16.00. Educational
Groups attending with instructors/chaperones are admitted
FREE with advance notice, call (505) 476-1140 to to make
advance arrangements.

Field Trips
There is no charge for educational groups attending
the museum with their instructor and/or adult chaperones.

Group Rates & Educational Groups
Educational
groups attending the Museum with their instructors and adult
chaperones can arrange FREE admission for the entire group
by calling (505) 476-1140.
Walk-in Guided Tours: Docents lead
tours of exhibitions at 10:15 and 11:30 am and 2:00 p.m.;
Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday through Sundays tours are
offered at 10:15 a.m. and 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.
The Museum of International Folk Art is a great place for
families and children!

Café
Museum Hill Café (photo, left) is open from from
11 a.m. to 3 p.m. September through May and 10 a.m. to 3
p.m. DAILY from Memorial day through Labor day. The telephone

Gift Shops
The gift shop and bookstore are operated by the Museum of
New Mexico Foundation, and are open the same hours as the
museum. The Museum Gift Shop can be reached at (505) 982-5186

Donations
Individuals interested in donating items can give a variety
of gifts to help the museum, including cash donations, bequests
and include items with tangible and intangible value.

The LAS Internship is intended for a female student who
is completing
advanced undergraduate course work, currently enrolled in
graduate school, or who plans graduate work in art history,
American, Chicano/Latino, or Latin American studies, folklore,

Photography is permitted in the toy and book lounge, and
other non-exhibition areas. Photography is NOT permitted
in the exhibition galleries.
Permission to Use Museum Images/Photos: Please allow a minimum
of four weeks to process requests for image reproduction
rights. Send inquiries to ree.mobley@state.nm.us.
